Today’s real life health tip is about making hot water and lemon your first drink of the day.
When you wake in the morning commonly your mouth will feel dry or a little sticky. This is worse if the last drink you had the night before was alcohol.
Basically it is understood that several hours (i.e. throughout the night) of not drinking anything means you start the day dehydrated.
As tea and coffee contain caffeine which in itself is dehydrating, waking in the morning and knocking back either of these, just adds to the problem.
Instead choose a couple of mugs of hot water and lemon before you drink anything else and your brain, skin, digestion, bowel function and energy levels will thank you for it!
